= Varsity Blues =

Hello again~

I'm so terrible at keeping up with updating and I'm sorry for that haha I have a bit of good news! I've been promoted at work! Well I guess it's good and bad since I wont have as much free time as before. But it's ok because it won't keep me away from having a good time with my friends :] ! Especially like tonight at The Black Boar in Eagle Rock, lets just say I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time and it felt good :D

Aside from that what I thought was a very cute outfit turned out to fail me :[ apparently I looked grandma-ish.. You can be the judge of that and put in your two cents as well~

Wearing:
Cardigan: Forever 21 ($12!!)
Skirt: Forever 21 ($18)
- I love the length of this skirt and the pleated details! Plus! it has a lil peek a boo effect with the sheer lower half and built in mini skirt ;]
Shirt: Forever 21 ($15)
-I tied it in the front to give it more of a fun carefree summer look
Shoes: BCBG
Watch: Michael Kors for Nordstroms in SS/RSGold (LOVE)

Let me know what you thought!

Always,
Kyung*

- One Cardigan, Two Styles -

So in my previous post here I posted about putting a Nautical Twist on your style.
Today I'm going to take that same cardigan and change it again. This time with a tea length dress.

I went shopping yesterday so I wanted to make sure I had on a comfortable dress that I can take off and put on easily so this tea length dress was perfect which I found for $20 at Papaya! What a bargain! and I even second guess myself and almost didn't buy it.

To finish my outfit I wore my Seychelles with a 2 inch heel. Ladies it is always good to either take a pair of heels with you or to wear a comfortable kitten heel when shopping. It makes all the difference when you try clothes on~

What I Wore:

My other dog "Happy" happily rollin gin the dirt as I took my photos

J Crew cardigan, Forever 21 green leave and stone necklace, HM headband

Belt was included with the dress and I got my shoes on Piperlime on sale!

My dress had pockets which was perfect for my Iphone as I shopped.

My failed attempt at a "jumping" picture haha
My successful day of shopping ended me with

Not too shabby aside from buying much needed make up and lotion I got a BCBG top and skirt ( LOVE the hounds ) and a vermilion stripped sweater from Ann Taylor Loft with a new pencil skirt for work.

My new little guy to put on my shelf
All in all a good end to a good day of shopping.

Happy Father's Day to all your fathers!

Always,
Kyung*

:: Oh the Places You'll Go~ ::

Oh my goodness how time has flown the last couple of months. It's already finals week in my classes.
Good news is once Mon, Tue, and Weds are done I will be a free woman for the summer! I still haven't decided if I want to take a summer course... I probably should, but its been a pretty crazy couple of months.

I'm sorry I've been so MIA! Here I am making promises for the new year and haven't even followed through. :[

Oh but enough of that, where to start!

Quick updates are that I've officially moved into a new house! One where Poppy can freely play outside and take care of business.
I will say that the transition was hard~ I used to live 15 mins from work, and 10 mins from school, but now I live 25 mins from work and 20 mins from school. Plus the added traffic of the 5 -_-;;
But that was a couple months ago, I'm slowly adapting to the little changes, although I don't think my car appreciates the added milage. ;]

On to more exciting things! My hair has officially become its original length before I cut it to a short and sweet bob 4 years ago. Oh the possibilities!~

First thing on my list after finals is get a haircut and plan a trip. where do you suggest I go?

I originally planned Boston, New York and maybe even Hawaii since i've never been, but plans have changed since then so Im looking for a good alternative.
Maybe Napa? or Canada? oh but I'd need a passport for that and I've been too busy to file for one after getting my citizenship back in August. Boo on me haha

And finally here is my outfit for the day:

I also had time for a little DIY for my new rooms:

Wearing: Massimo top, Cotton On scarf, Charlotte Russe skinny jeans, Ray-Ban Wayfarers, Coach Classic watch, Pandora double braided leather bracelet in Red, Francesca flats, Coach Kristin crossbody in Turquoise

and here is my DIY jewelry holder...

I needed a nice jewelry stand for all my rings and bracelets, but I didnt like the white color

My new best friends!

and the finished product!

Once my rooms are done I will give you a tour of the new house!
Until next time then,
-Ciao~

[ Larger than Life ]

Due to popular demand and missing posting, I have recommitted myself to working on an entry at least once a week. :]

Since my last entry I've

  • Become a full time student
  • Visited Boston for my Birthday weekend
  • Helped coordinate a friends wedding :]
  • Become a mom to a new puppy
Poppy
  • And still working close to 15 hours a week
Let's just say that at this moment I feel larger than life :]
Yes it is a lot on my plate, but it kinda feels good to be so productive. I will admit thought that my English class is kicking my arse at the moment, but I plan on changing that. (Fighting!)

Have a great weekend! and TGIF!

I have a feeling my next post will be a montage of Poppy from day 1 to now :]

-- Dandelions --

Hello warm weather!~

Sadly I am already back from my mini birthday vaca to Boston. If I had known how cold and short the trip was going to be I would have made the necessary changes.

I will post my pictures from the trip throughout the week, but for today I have two outfit posts from before I left for the east coast.

The weather before I left was so unexpected! Even though we're still in "winter" the temps were going up into the 80's! That meant that my outfit options had greatly expanded. Because although the temps were in the 80's during the day at night it would drop drastically to the 50's and even 40's... No BUENO!

For my first outfit I had to run some errands around the town and meet up with a friend for dinner. I really wanted to find an outfit that was casual and comfortable but at the same time cute for a dinner date at a cafe. Finally after a couple different tops and shoes I had found the perfect errand/dinner date outfit.

This was a great shot of the back of my top. I really like the detailing the elastic gives. I also love that it's a 3/4 sleeve

I woke up to these dandelions all over the secret garden behind my house

I love the little statue of the angel and mushroom

Make a wish!

A close up of my necklace along with my mid day snacks cant go without my coffee cake and passion ice tea
Outfit Details:

Top: Custom made
Pants: J Crew Boyfriend Chino's ( I love the paint splatters on them)
Shoes: Miss Sixty also worn here
Necklace: Forever 21 it was only $9.98!!
Watch: Coach Boyfriend watch
Nail Polish: NYC's Park Ave from Target ( I highly recommend this color!)

Coral, Lace and Ruffles

The day after, I had another dinner date with a friend who lives down in OC (Orange County).

I kind of knew what I wanted to wear since I had boughten some new flats the night before and great little boutique called Francesca's. So I spend the afternoon deciding my outfit around these cute pair of flats that were a dark bronze with a lace overlay. (absolutely ADORABLE)

I love the fit of these jeans and the length of my top!

My best "Jumping" Picture

The cute little flats

My favorite Gold Key

It must really be getting close to Spring

I wanted to try something different with my nails, and I remember Vanessa Hudgens rocking this look
