-- Dandelions --

Hello warm weather!~

Sadly I am already back from my mini birthday vaca to Boston. If I had known how cold and short the trip was going to be I would have made the necessary changes.

I will post my pictures from the trip throughout the week, but for today I have two outfit posts from before I left for the east coast.

The weather before I left was so unexpected! Even though we're still in "winter" the temps were going up into the 80's! That meant that my outfit options had greatly expanded. Because although the temps were in the 80's during the day at night it would drop drastically to the 50's and even 40's... No BUENO!

For my first outfit I had to run some errands around the town and meet up with a friend for dinner. I really wanted to find an outfit that was casual and comfortable but at the same time cute for a dinner date at a cafe. Finally after a couple different tops and shoes I had found the perfect errand/dinner date outfit.

This was a great shot of the back of my top. I really like the detailing the elastic gives. I also love that it's a 3/4 sleeve

The day after, I had another dinner date with a friend who lives down in OC (Orange County).

I kind of knew what I wanted to wear since I had boughten some new flats the night before and great little boutique called Francesca's. So I spend the afternoon deciding my outfit around these cute pair of flats that were a dark bronze with a lace overlay. (absolutely ADORABLE)

{ Sweet Sweet Aroma }

Before my best friend left for her adventures in London. (Study abroad program) I was able to grab a nice catch up/recap on 2010 dinner at our favorite cafe "Aroma"

If you know me you would know that this is by far my FAVORITE place to go to have coffee, snacks, and of course FOOD!

They have the best cakes and coffee you can find in Studio City.

This is what I usually order:

1. 24 oz Iced Caramel Latte (double shot)

2. Turkey Pesto Panini (the best you will ever eat)

3. Side of Herb (Garlic) fries

4. If I have room, which I usually do thanks to my dessert stomach, Red Velvet Cake slice. If you don't like the color red they do offer Blue Velvet cake too :]

And trust me when I say this isn't even the beginning of their menu~ They offer a great selection!

Aside from the food, my favorite aspect of Aroma would have to be the unique set up of their patio which has indoor/outdoor seating that goes all the way around their cafe. Also being the animal lover that I am Aroma is also a very pet friendly cafe. Owners and their dogs can lounge outside and even have an occasional water break for the dogs. Aroma has really gone the extra mile for our lovable best friends.

So if you're ever in the Studio City area stop by and have a drink or grab one to go. You won't regret it. I promise

[ Warmer Weather ]

Is it that time of year again?!
Bring out those dresses and sandals everyone! Cali is starting to warm up :]

I don't know if its just me but the winter this year was "COLD" there were nights where I would drive home and my car would beep at me saying that it was 35 degrees outside... burr... I shouldn't be complaining though. My poor cali grown boyfriend is stuck in Boston for the next three years. Apparently they had a blizzard this week and had two consecutive "snow days".

What is this speak of "Snow" days? this is nonsense to those of us who have lived on the west coast our entire lives. :] Thank God

As for my outfit update for today. I channeled a casual look for a lunch date with a friend in Old Pasadena. She herself was shocked that I had come in skinny jeans and flats. haha little does she know that this lunch date was the first "Real" meal since last tuesday. There's been this lingering cold i've had for some time now and I still cant seem to shake it. I've gone down a whole dress size since getting this cold. But hey, who's complaining 10 lbs lighter = happy Kyung :]

I'm excited for tomorrows post! I recently went to my 1st bridal shower and after a whole day of contemplating what to wear, I found the perfect outfit! So stay tuned and give me your inputs on how I did. The next big stressful outfit ordeal will be my 5 day trip to Boston for my birthday next week and of course the actual wedding day for my friend. I'm going to need some help, that's for sure.......

I am so sorry I lied to you guys about being back last time.

Happy Christmas and Happy NEW YEAR!
Sorry this message is a little late, but hey at least we're still in the month of January as I am typing this hahaha

I really Hope that everyone has had a wonderful holiday season. My life has been a complete whirlwind after getting back from Boston.

I Love the holidays but at the same time I hate it. ESPECIALLY the traffic to the mall... not a pretty sight at all people. NOT PRETTY AT ALL

If I had a nickel for every time I ran into horrible mall parking situations, I'd be a billionaire by now. Anyone else have horror stories from the mall? we should have venting sessions together :]

Speaking of the enjoyments of the mall what did everyone get for Christmas? I know it's a bit late for that but I wanted to share my gift from my boyfriend.

I know! isn't it he cutest thing ever! combine Hello Kitty with my favorite family game and you have one happy Kyung Kim!

Also, I just went on a mini shopping spree at The Limited and they're having a great sale! You get an additional 40% off on all their sales items. I was able to snag a blouse, belt, earrings, sweater cardigan and a nautical top :] all for under $100.
